Dr. Omer Rashid is a professional veterinary writer and pet industry content developer with a DVM and a Masters in veterinary parasitology plus an interest in integrative veterinary healthcare.  Dr. Rashid also studied advanced pharmacology at  Charles Darwin University in Australia and worked in the Australian Healthcare sector for several years.  While in veterinary practice he experienced small animals as well as equine and livestock. After which he worked as a science writer for a UK-based research company with clients such as Harvard, Stanford, and Cambridge universities. Dr. Omer loves nature, playing with his children and his new kitten Charlie as well as daily tai chi not to mention being a passionate cricket player.
